The electrical machines have simple and convenient operation along with start and control. Such as, the motor operation can be easily controlled by using turn on and turn off switch. Also the speed of the motor can be varied to any desired range.
Flexibility:
The most important feature of electrical energy is its greater flexibility. This electrical energy can be transported from one place to another with the help of conductor.
Convenient form:
The electrical energy has a wide variety of convenient form. The electrical energy can be converted in most of the known forms. Such as, the electrical energy can be converted into light and heat. The only thing is needed to pass the electrical energy through of high resistance. The more the resistance the more heat can be produced. The electrical energy can be converted into mechanical form when it passes through a motor. Not only this forms, it can be used in various forms.
High efficiency in transmission:
the consumers of the electrical energy normally use this energy from a very distance place from the production center. This electrical energy can be passed through the overhead conductors, known as electrical wire. This electrical energy can be passed through this wire with a very high efficiency and conveniently.
Cleanliness and cheapness:
The electrical energy is normally free from smoke, poisonous gas, fume etc. which helps to make the environment clean. The electrical energy is much cheaper then other energy. If only transmission is considered, once it was setup the only cost is maintenance.
